E-volve is a freeware Java program which draws patterns within a hexagon. There are 3 possible settings producing 6, 3 or 1 hexagons within the bounding hexagon (Type1-3 in names below). Maximum original size is 199 px square (examples have been enlarged to 480). Being hexagonal all patterns produced are tileable into larger areas as shown in some of the examples. Similar to other Java programs, patterns have to be 'grabbed' first before they can be used.
